If you traded cryptocurrency instead youd probably pull a lot more money for now.

Whoooa what a story. The guy sounds like he's off his psych meds. Did he look nuts?
-
@linuxer4fun yacc is pretty cool. Seems like something interesting to read about or use.
-
@Krokoklemme If he's only looking to do addition, multiplication etc then he can write a really simple interpreted language in c++ by using his own data types and overloading the + - / * operators which would save a shit ton of work. It's not everything he'd need to do but a really good start.
-
Just because Unix has had it forever doesn't make it less useful. It's still awesome to see Microsoft joining in using the standard ssh protocol.
-
Just overload operators in c++ and use custom data types.
-
Lol that's pretty bad
-
Sounds like a good place to run away from.
-
@irene but... They are awesome.
-
Get some borsch and learn Russian I guess. Oh and get one of those big fluffy hats.

Wingdings

I'm a cancer and mostly use os x or Linux.
-
That was the intention at first with the iPhone but then people complained.
I had a palm pre when that came out and every app on it was just an html page with some Java script. I really liked that phone. It's a shame they didn't take off. -
@ParkCity Ah, I wouldn't take them too seriously. If they want to be enraged by something you say, let them be. Actually it's quite fun to troll those people.
-
Modems are compromised pretty easily. It could be that.
-
@ParkCity ? I've never met anyone that cared or supported Palestine.
-
He's probably right. People are on their phones (myself included) far too much.
-
Writing reports or tax info for terrible database schemas that don't make sense.
-
Rsync
-
The ones in your snapshot are good.
-
I'm glad of this. It i stupid to not have shit baked in.
Lol autocorrect, I typed ssh -
In situations like that, I find it better to just rewrite it and say, that software was awful, I rewrote it. Better to ask forgiveness than permission.
-
@JoshBent lol that took me a minute. You just have to love autocorrect.
Or in autocorrectish:
That took me a while to get back to the office and I will be there at like 1 am not sure if I can make it to the meeting tonight but I will be there at like 1 am not sure.
Hmm autocorrect repeats. -
@KimberlyTheGeek I live and phoenix and we haven't either. :P
-
@TheGamingBarrel People do it quite frequently. The thing you're prevented from is utility pole access and public funds supporting it but wireless technology is pretty good now. There are tons of them.
-
@linuxxx US, they're going to tear down the rules here in a few weeks.
-
@IllSlapU yeah. If people have this kind of energy though, they should stop wasting their time screaming into a vacuum and get after it. WISPs seem to be pretty modest cost wise to start.
-
@JoshBent I never even thought yo search that, I want that aluminum schematic.
-
@gitpush Me too! I'll take one. We need a developer with a rare skill set that only maybe 200 people have. Should be an interesting applicant search.
-
Actually forget that, I suppose that would take forever (I read it as 64 bit for some reason). I wonder if true crypt has any vulnerabilities back then. Might be worth seeing if they had any security oriented bugs since then. Also some encryption has been deemed crackable since then, might be worth looking into.
Another thought I had, random number generator oftentimes aren't random enough, that might be an attack vector to try if you can remember what you generated it with.
Another thought, you've probably done this but think back to what was in Vogue at the time and was new and exciting to try out, maybe your database of passwords is stored on an old drop box account or something.
That's it, those are all my ideas and leads. Hopefully that helps.
