What I can't get out of my head is that it seems like a strange way to place the tent. Why not tent on the ground and why the not so good way of getting out on other than one side of the platform, high up.
-
Ofc the code is clean.
-
@GTom https://conventionalcommits.org/en/... for example
-
Those things apart. Phones like this just makes me cry inside. Huawei just makes me sad, and so does other brands as well though. Give me a solid phone that doesn't fall apart when you touch it.
-
When will people stop postning memes based on that picture.
-
@rEaL-jAsE One can sometimes code in Java and sometimes in C#, and other langs as well.
-
@irene Was some time ago since I used that but I remember I liked it.
-
@mlask That one as well :) .
-
Surprised?
-
@heyheni Yes I am, but not only. Will take a look.
-
@linuxxx You will get Kde/Plasma updates with Neon that you will not get with Kubuntu. So newer versions without waiting for a new distro version as you have todo with Kubuntu. Semi rolling. And Neon is vanilla KDE where Kubuntu is somewhat themed and adjusted.
-
@AL1L Yes I know. But this is more of a general thing about Google, even if there are ways around it. I don't trust their intentions.
-
@AL1L I don't think that all that is anonymous.
But, if you combine several anonymous data collection you can end up not being that anonymous anymore. -
@linuxxx It's not a bug, it's a feature. Hence not an issue. It works likes intended ;) .
-
And a lot of people are using Linux just because they like it and it works as they want. And for a lot of people it just works out of the box. Some like to config it in every little way and some does not. And the FUD goes both way and you can blame both sides for screwing things up.
-
@Tekrus Agree
-
@bahua Nice
-
@konzeptraum I like it a lot. Brown switches.
-
Not true.
-
A framework a day keeps the doctor away. Or...
-
I've tried a lot, a lot, of distros. Currently running Solus on my workstation and one server with Debian, one server with Ubuntu and a laptop running Arch. It all started with RedHat in 1997.
-
Or use fluxbox
-
@jase I know. I was joking as well :) . Irony on the internet.
-
@jase That's correct. PHP is part of who I used to be. Aren't doing it anymore but back in the days I did. And I thought I was cool then for not using oldschool asp.
I will make sure they learn the coolest lang there is. -
Thanks. I should try that. ;)
-
Dates and timezones could be the reason to stop coding. But then I know how it is when using things coded by someone else so the nightmare will follow me anyway. Just like when I dreamt about being in a never ending string escape function.
-
There's a lot of "test in production" rants...
-
@linuxxx Agree. And I like simple installers as well. All have it's fun.
-
@xsacha Was a long time since Gentoo but I see your point. Regarding Arch that is probably partly true. Doing that quite often makes each update faster. Then not every day though. But your point is sort of true.
-
@ferpsanta HDD, as we need to trust other people we need to trust the code as well. We need more hope.
