Joking about my neutrality during this meeting
@intrusioncm that's the point. Web server should not be configurable but programmable.
Also Programming languages are precise and human readable.
I can't understand why I need some fancy configuration command to do some simple logic
I don't think that was a stupid feature. In every UI the user need same sort of visual feedback when some action happen.
These feedbacks could be some flashing message or pretty much anything... In this case , a loader. :)
In italian it literally translate "sweat".
Now realize all the jokes...
You can try ignoring them, but I found this way ineffective . Rude people are rude because this is they're way to live: treat them rude too: IMHO is more useful
Once mastered you'll start using regex everywhere
Why every well payed jobs are also the most annoying?
I've been using Blender for a while now, and I'm pretty confident with the keys : just link the single key with a word like g stands for grab! Now I found myself typing more than moving the mouse . Also the spacebar ( f3 for the new blender) is your best friend
I love linux: for servers.
Linux could chain-up different programs carefully configured and perform really complicated automated stuffs that you simply can't accomplish on a gui-based os.
Do you want track some strange http connections? cat | egrep , >>
Now that log file is too big? logrotate
Do you want it as email daily? cron
Those are really basic stuffs that on windows are nearly impossible
@allthingsinmod You can't simply "introduce" a new tech to a programmer: The people are scared by the unknow
@hanieh-m I'm just arrived!
@yendenikhil how do you recognize private info?
Here's a tip:
Every time a DIO ask for something just reply: "Yeah DIO, gimme 10 minutes"
Wait up to 20 minutes and then ask him what's then problem: you got 60% probability that He solve the problem himself, otherwise increase the waiting time (Tune for each DIO)
