I know that when your code is in PR Process its a good oportunity to improve but I dont want my TL think I am useless... It was a good way to verify how he likes to work and that he is a functional approach fun but I would like to give him the image of being accountable... This is my 2nd week...
I would like to know if there is a place where you can grab imperative java code so as to practice... I wont run like crazy to transform all to functional but would like to be awared..
We are using Java Vavr library which is amazing... -
I have started a new journey on a company on Jabuary 25. I put a lot of effort but apparently the client told my employer I took too many time in my onboarding process (they expected me to be ready in two weeks or less) and they deactivated my slack account (this was on monday, because although I had holidays I turn on my machine in order to advance). The client said this on friday and I got awared on monday. I feel frustrated... Because I put a lot of effort resuming the documentation and even my team mates said it was unfair; some of them took longer than two weeks and they havent make a PR.
So it seemed to me strange as I said... Some of the conclusions we arrived were: We should ask for credentials 1 week before. The other thing was: The guy who technically interviewed me was really important in the project and he has a cool posibility on Barcelona (spain). We assumed that the client feel angry or sad about this and because they want to keep still the relation but want other provider to supply that dev guy, they arose with silly and stupid time requirements. I did all I could taking into account they didnt give me all the credentials at the same time; the first one came one week after.
Soooo here I am... Enjoying a good bench time and learning angular !!!!... sincerely... I wanted to release some shots to the air jaja -
I am starting a new journey on a new dev company in my town... so far, I have been told its for a company that sell software for banks... so I expect to find a large codebase... Is there any strategy that you guys follow to assimilate the large codebases ?...3

I had lot of interviews this week and the possibility in which I didnt think I could succeed is the one with most % of success (maybe because I know by sight certain people -which are good developers- and so I thought for a long time "You must be really sharp to enter here"). The thing is that I feel anxious... Never seen spring cloud (eureka or netflix zuul) for example... Anyway, didnt get the offer yet...

I fear that my code isnt as much good as expected so I started hurting my fingers... Anyway, started reading "clean code" so hope it helps... But fear remains... Want to do a good performance; I am married now...4

I am currently working in a company which according my parameters is very good and which I've been "chasing" for over 1 year and a half... I feel really fine...
But something curious started to happen 3 weeks ago... Companies before that in which I had an interview and that they said I wasnt enough experienced (not even with 5 years almost 6 working as a dev), started to contact me making a job offer (obviously without tech interview)...
Does anyone feels this like funny or a dejavu of an experience in another area ?... They said no but when I found the a place they start to appear like the grass of my backyard with offers... They would have made an offer before dumbasses3 -
Was so angry... Was all the day wondering why my rest method wasnt outputting a certain property (in null to be more precise)... When almost 5 hours has passed, I realized it was due the @JsonIgnore annotation... soooo angryyyyy jaja
