Not to advocate vscode here and I too myself was annoyed with restriction to position panels.
Luckily, I found this link - https://calebporzio.com/6-annoying-...
Repositioning panels is just dragging and dropping them to their place of your liking. I come from Eclipse world, so I preferred Search and Copilot panels in the bottom panels. -
Here is the main page - https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/...
And this page looks more like a Sales page that actually getting into documentation. I dont need the feature walk-through.
Now you go through the list of sections on the left side panel. Nowhere, you will see the API reference for REST endpoints. As if they only want you to use the SDK for all purposes. I dont need the whole project with SDK for quick API checks for the responses I can expect.
And then finally you need to do a Duckduckgo search to get to the actual API page here - https://ai.google.dev/api
And this page is the biggest bullshit in the name of API reference. You go into individual resource reference and there is mention of how the resource url would look like. That is mentioned in the Overview section, which has all endpoints listed.
What a total fucking mess. -
It's so interesting to know that you can get an answer, but it won't tell you how it came to the result, so that you can understand what that looks like. So, you can never learn anything from it.

@FuckJava Why should I die because everyone enabled Skynet to do so. I am just a collateral damage. Plus, I would die much earlier than I am supposed to. And with that logic, I should commit suicide right away because I have to die anyways. People always wonder how big business and big people are becoming even bigger. This is how. By using people to give them more money. And people too happily giving it away without giving a second thought what is being compromised instead. The conversation you had doesn't give you anything in return (maybe a satisfaction that ChatGPT isn't upto the mark), but the creators got the learning from your conversation and would improve it and then use it against everyone.

Of course println. The more, the better. 😈
-
Btw, research shows some people are more attracted towards mosquitoes than others. The mosquito must be really liking you.
-
The world will be a lot more peaceful today, and I hope we get to see more such days.
-
The fact that they put Salesforce alongside programming languages says it all.
-
They might add as well add Electrician and Plumbing and Cleaning Services. Big Company savings.
-
Probably they are new users who don't know how stackoverflow works. They just are here to get their questions answered and then just leave. The community was very vibrant earlier, now people are just careless.
-
I wonder why you didn't knew that earlier. They would have definately sent multiple notifications.
-
Mosquitoes have killed more humans in the history of mankind than any other thing.

@Floydimus I didn't get the sarcasm 🤦♂️
-
@vintprox Exactly. It feels like it's just another linux distribution.
-
@Floydimus Don't update your windows for 3 months and then one fine Sunday, try updating. You will start hating Windows by the end of the day because it wouldn't have completed by then still. I am just wondering how much would it take for people to update to Windows 11.

Salesforce - I dont even want to explain why.
-
Javascript !!is a bad programming language.
-
I feel you. Sometimes, I feel like quitting but then I know how much problemetic it will be for the team, and then the thought is left alone.
-
Try Google Meet or Google Chat for a week, and you will like Slack like never before.
-
Would the case on the SQL keywords matter anymore during that period 😀
-
True. Better to cry in a Ferrari, than cry homeless on the road.
-
If its a technical video like a programming tutorial or something like that then you also need to have a github project as reference and then also probably have an article on your own blog or some popular blogging platforms. Its just too much work at times compared to vlogs which I find is just blabbering your daily life. I really dont know why people with vlogs so much views.

I remember in my last organization, Head of Engineering giving the task of preparing the guidelines and process for Testing of applications in our team, to our Engineering Manager. He just forwarded the task to one of the engineers and then just took those slide decks and showed it to Head of Engineering. When the engineer got to know this, he just resigned the next day.

My use case is for general purpose programming. Trying out various stuff. I know node modules and Android Studio can literally eat up resources, but I dont intend to do any heavy development with those. Maybe a few apps for short periods.
Thanks for suggestions btw. I will check out the options as suggested by people. -
@witchDev Once I got to know its the same company, I politely said, I have been working here already. To this he also laughed and told me to reach out to him if I plan to leave.

So relatable
-
@molaram I so wish that was possible.
-
Whoever is writing code in that font, will frown a lot of people
-
@deadlyRants I use DuckDuckGo
