this wasn't the first project that was blown up with that fucking yes man using his fucking timelines

there were first 2 really big project that was supposed to be the core system of the company, and i was part of one of it, *what happend?*, **fucking kabooom**

and the fucking fault is ours cause the system ended up in a mess a bunch of patches every now and then due to constant change of requirements, and a lot of time got wasted since this was a core system the management was eager to extend from the base timeframe of 2 months, these two system even lasted more than a year, even got deployed but within the first year new CEO in charge killed it with another vendor system, fucking wasted all the resources

and as i heard from the other dev team that works on a another project right now their timeline was also 1 month and yes their project is much bigger than the one im in cause they also need to do a lot of integrations to other systems

now that the deadline is near i asked what would we all do if we fail to produce it on the given time frame, cause it really is impossible to meet the deadline now

and that dumb old shit just answered with another freaking question saying, why can't we deliver?

when all the people involved in the project knows what a fucking nightmare the timeline was, and the fact that it was also raised as a concern that the timeline is seriously impossible

he still has a shit of a tongue to ask, he fucking sold the team just for his desire to be liked by the management, what a fucking moron

we ended up exhanging questions all over like a fucking loop till one answers which, and wasted both of our fucking time, maybe a bit of the others time also since i asked on the projects team channel

guess what no fucking question was answered

the case was

theres this project assigned to us and the fucking timeline was made without consulting us, the developers, we were all shocked that we need to deliver a full blown system within a month, which means devs and QAs would share within that given timeframe, plus the part of gathering the business requirements was also within that 1 month period

its all fucking compressed there!! fucking sardines right there!!

we were all shocked when we saw the timeline and we couldn't complain cause it's already commited to the management and they are already expecting from us, fuck!!

as the project goes on i raised several times that the timeline was totally unrealistic and our senior developer who made the timeline simply just blamed the management and said that we couldn't do anything about it

he at least could have said a fucking no!! he clearly didn't know how to handle a fucking team and was just a mere pet to the clients and the management that always says a fucking yes!!
