I was the same in last job O had a screen that was basically a display for a nice background. Having the seperate keyboard makes a massive difference. OS is Ubuntu Gnome. Using GitKracken, STS all dark themed ☺️

As a non ubuntu user (mac), did you have to install third party software to get the dock? I am starting new job soon and will be using ubuntu laptop, i feel this looks and feel would ease the transition 😃
