Atleast it's readable. Definitely seen worse that achieves less.
Would reject merge request though 🤣 -
That fucking gaming chair was a birthday present
-
I did it, I deleted all my social media that uses my real identity!
-
The trick is to keep her thinking youre drawing her while achieving based inheritance
-
@practiseSafeHex
You took the requested method of response too literally, when you were about to see them in person anyway. Its my opinion only, the way the meeting was handled was an exercise on that. -
To be fair... an email with all attendees copied in before the meeting?
Raise the points in the meeting and email afterward as cliff notes. It just tells people youre a nervous speaker. -
*laughs in javascript*

They both have their uses. git init is quicker than initializing through a gui. But who really wants to exclude lines from a diff through cli lol?
-
Gave me a good chuckle
-
Not that big of a deal. Looks similar to the iPad mini dimensions, we already accommodate this stuff...
-
Alot of those calls are during work hours which, without a voicemail or message I disregard. Most of those messages are generated from work testing or verification codes.
Honest! -
@appmaker
Haha I thought this was normal -
You don't want to work with those kinda clients anyway. Glad you came out unscathed dude
-
Guy lives for satire. Pretty sure he became a drug warlord in Bosnia or something just for a laugh. Look it up
-
Honestly these things are easily corrected. I worked with some who wrote 20 line string queries that wouldnt execute in a database manager but somehow worked in production.
He lasted two months but the damage was done. You can't delete one of them without causing days of work because of injected variables like $TypeType -
The 2nd one is so important. If the clients dictate your agile, they dictate the whole day.
-
@RememberMe thanks I look forward to their reccomendations!
-
@inaba
Only beginners rely on bloatQuery -
I had to take over a project from a Go developer. I can't even begin to describe how much python it was supported by. And setting up his docker environment required pip, composer, npm and brew.
This problem is everywhere today. -
I work with a guy like this. Not afraid to talk shit about anyone behind their back. I always give him a disapproving look but he continues regardless
-
@dfox looks like you have a regression in your codebase somewhere. All of my earliest rants have ‘undefined’ instead of ‘rant’
Also yes if you see my phone clock it is soon 4am and I have no idea why I’m posting this -

A driver knows their engine.

Shit code becoming mainstream must be prevented with supreme pull requests. Returned promise chains and element classlist arrays entirely altered in one line. CSS variables to represent each United Nation, where all margins are equal and peace between padding.
-
I think to become a gritty front end dev, you need solid experience in blowing up browsers with applications destined for space
-
Atleast we can center with different tools now. Although I did use float once
-
I've moved from a well established IOT house to a medical startup. I love having my own projects to handle personally.
-
Any frontend dev needs to know how to position and size anything with all 'display' and 'position' attributes. Get to understand webkit, key frames, pseudo classes and transitions, then scss and compiling
-
Anyone who has written JavaScript industrially and thinks the left side is more readable/better is very mistaken...
