Long time hardware/PLC tinkerer & Linux/UNIX admin. Trying to learn big boy programming. If it's not OSS, it must be too good for me because that's all I'm interested in.

Shell scripting (Linux & UNIX), Linux optimization (kernel bypassing mostly). Coming from a heavy networking and hardware background. Modbus TCP/Pymodbus slave (but secretly enjoy being close to hardware), baby pythonista, dying to get lower to C.
