First try on Google 😜 -
I am software engineer and building my own company right now. What's that lock down and what is time to rest?
-
Sounds like compensation of someone else's shortcomings..... 🤔 Maybe
-
Wrong screen 🤔
I know people like to say it's hard to really, really break a Linux system. But actually it is pretty damn easy to end up at a point where everything seems to be fucked up, your stuck in console and you don't know the right cli voodoo to get things in order again. -
Hehe that would be neat, charging via USB port suxxs
-
@RantSomeWhere it's a T430s, since seven years a very solid companion, the battery is pretty much dead by now, therefore the shitty power cord setup.
@gaaraDev I am running manjaro (for performance) with deepin desktop (need some eye candy while working). It's my best running system ever.
@devTea connected via USB, wondering about the question a little... -
You could give a Dart + Flutter a trial. It's a new framework by Google and it looks like they want to promote it very much for the future of Android.
Since it's very new there a not too much open positions yet. -
Got the keys to their Finca on Mallorca for the next summer vacation. I assume this to be a fair deal, considering that I told them they need a new printer.
-
@LordPeeve Fuck yeah!!! same here. Just told my boss.
Wish you all the best!
Lets hope for a better future and that it will be as good as we imagine. -
I am learning flutter right now and getting the same massage over and over. For me it seems like a poor implementation, just telling you your installation is old even though there is nothing newer.
-
Just trying to solve my biggest security issue ever..... Cutting the ties to Google I build up by myself by linking every shit to the Gmail account of mine, allowing access to all my data.
Over the years using Google and its growing services I didn't realize what a fucking monster this became and now knows almost everything if not even more about myself.
Any suggestions for good, reliable, encrypted alternative which is not reading my mails, your keyboard input, calender, everything else...... because it should be technically impossible?
I mean how to use your android phone without exposing all your data to them. -
Actually I believe you would have much more ++ if just everyone would know what a rim job is..... But maybe I am wrong 🤣
-
Dev: Ahm.... On my machine it did work...

If I am not mistaken udemy is quite new on the market and that discount business model is their way to get new costumers.
Considering the average price for a decent book to teach you, it can be a good alternative if you find the right course with a good discount. As for now I am pretty happy with my 20$ investment. Would be interesting to know how much money from a course sticks with the instructor after all cost considered. -
Well I am just doing my first course there which I think is very good as an introduction to a topic I never really focused on before.
I guess as always the teacher/ course creator needs to be good.
I think the ratings are not very useful, it appears like all the courses are top rated with out any flaw or to bad ratings, looks suspicious to be.
But with the right discount deal you get a lot for 20$ (I got two courses) so not too much at risk. I would never but something full price there. -
@illfamed thumbs up! I just purchased two courses at 20$ sale two weeks ago and absorbing the vids almost every day since then.
Found that guy because of some blog posts I read from him.
@ODXT I got a gym membership too and guess what...never going there. But three times the week you can find me at my mma training.
And I'll promise you my procrastination skill is very well developed.
I guess it's all about what your really want.
If someone else minds your love handles fuck him/her, safe the money and the time and invest it into something your really want but always hesitated to make a move. -
Yeah another brother in mind.
Did the same yesterday, well not 40 minutes, but anyway I was freaking out way my program always giving me fuck, instead of the result. -
@Navigatr So far I played every add-on occasionally till I got a few max level chars, tried a raid or two and then again realising "ain't nobody got time for that" 😂
-
@Alice you hate it or you love it...
@Navigatr Europe 🇪🇺 but right know I am not even playing, just lingering with old memories from a time long ago, when the only thing you had to worry about was to finish the raid in time because you don't wanted to be late for the next drink and party. -
Oh boy, Sounds like daily business at my company to.
Only difference: they don't tell you if they think your work sucks (doesn't matter for what reason) they just don't use it without telling you. Than they spend the same time doing it there own way (for better or worse doesn't matter) and of course complaining about you to other colleagues in the meantime.
During your next performance review they don't tell you about it either.
But if you ask for a raise even a year later, they will tell you, based on that particular project, that your performance sucks and before you might get a raise, you need to prove your performance for at least another half year.
Sorry for hijacking your rent with my own. That was not intended 😂 -
@stop the installer is pretty straight forward and even resizing my drive and dual boot into windows works without any flaw.
It's not like arch anymore, I tried the installation once, thinking: "I am a noob, there is a decent wiki, I want to learn real Linux, what could probably go wrong...."
@emyu10 almost everything important is present out of the box but I am still not very confident about the aur and the trazilian different package manager and which is fucking up my system over time and which one to trust. -
Stackoverflow can be a great help and good resource for many many things.
But it's like your old lady at home.
If you treat her right she's your angel.
Treat her wrong and she punches you right in the face.
So be sure to state your question accurate, in a clear manner and do an exhaustive research before posting. -
I love to get my hands dirty with the nodeMCU although I don't think working against natural sleeping patterns is a good idea long term.
Try to hook up your node with mqtt, so you can set your clock comfortably via a simple one line command over WiFi.
Why? just because you can 😂 -
What's wrong about opera? I like it, it has some useful features out of the box.
Safari is still alive 'cause you can't expect the average iOS user to be flexible enough to change. -
If you want to get start with an ESP8266 why not buying a NodeMCU devkit?
It's cheap and very robust against newbish behaviour...
You can even power it up with 12V without cooking the circuits.
Downside: it consumes more power and comes with some overhead, but is very versatile.
