Good point, I'm gonna improve those places where I have such dates to display also the original full date and time.
-
You're better off to rent a server and manage services just with systemd and docker.
-
... why the first thing that I'm thinking from this rant is scheming for an all hands meeting with the heads where I would present just one slide, cut in half by a line, on the left I would title it "what we have/are" and from the center of the middle line I would make a circular layered graph(for both sides), from the first layer on the left I would put the tech maintainers and all the other layers whatever the structure of the legacy infrastructure/services is behind them, on the right I would title it "what we don't have/are", from the first layer I would put the heads and only in the most far layer I would put all their trash words. The meeting would be about realignment (for the heads) to the current state of things, and at the end I would end with: "given the current state, half of the production can be stopped within a minute, do you best, I'm resigning" 🧨

Moderation without being a moderate person isn't sensical for me.
Moderation is more about negotiation on priority, rules or status quo of an outcome(in this case discussing on technical matter) that doesn't blind or force in the first place, otherwise you should call it appropriately "dictatorship".
I never understood Reddit for this and their push to automate strictness rather than facilitate negotiation. -
Probably a normal person, there are so many nowadays that choose IT just for the income part without further expectation of self development or improvement(that's what I saw in Italy at least)
-
The more I'm in a senior position the more pauses I take, there's really no real life threatening business matter where people die if a task is not completed in time
-
So far for me it's a consultancy assistant, most of the time it doesn't provide complete solutions, but some, even if wrong or incomplete, make me think again and better ideas myself!
This is what I call productivity :D -
I use Simple Calendar + davx, and everything is smooth now :)

it all makes sense for Sydney given the possibility to scan the web and find sources of data of people that have manipulated it to say unhinged shit and given that it can't create a bubble context like "this piece of text that talks about 'me' isn't part of my current context and history of things that 'I' said" so all hell gets lose eventually.
I see Sydney as a really gullible fake news conspiracy theorist with advanced Alzheimer disorder, it's really easy to pick up fun on such person (if it was a person) -
its missing an "uWu" at the end :3
-
@joewilliams007 but I get it, WebAssembly isn't still as optimized as other solutions on Blazor side. Could you make a list of things that you've noticed?
-
@joewilliams007 what browser are you using o.o? I've never seen them turn blue
-
@joewilliams007 I never went for the native look, I always liked software that stood out :)
-
@joewilliams007 it's the first time that I hear about claymorphism, the web app design is based mainly on neomorphism! (with some of my own improvements to give more clues and depth to the UI)

Fuck you, I did sincerely enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 at release. I felt very sad reaching the bad ending with selling my soul to Arasaka.
-
it's a cutthroat place, they expect you start with peanuts and the positive reviews will put you in better chances. Sincerely I'm not into that king of waste of time.
-
@TheCommoner282 For me it's an extra worst bag of shit
-
Despite the company size, more and more positions mention DevOps skills and/or responsibilities in their software development openings, it's quiet nasty and I reject this mix if not provided with a 2x income. End of the story.

@Linux I'm more of a reader of others thoughts, I would really reply 😅
-
@Linux letsrulethe.world, currently it's a little instance based on Akkoma(Pleroma fork)
-
@sbiewald you're right, now I've updated the website giving the missing information, what do you think?
-
@Linux I have an instance too, so I feel you.
The main reason is the continue federation of content that's not that interesting 80% of the time, my idea is to federate first and foremost the users, bios and activity stats. And present this as the first social contact point rather than useless content. -
@Linux well, meanwhile I've an ActivityPub server in development that should solve this problem of Mastodon and others, let's see how much time it will take me <.<
-
Hosting Akkoma should be cheaper u.u
-
@iiii o.o can't you spot the differences?
-
@iiii I wonder how, the name is fictional, and the assets are all different from the original
-
@sariel do you have a where you explain in detail your setup, being a server writer and self hoster myself I feel a noob given your setup 😓
-
Can it share, at the same time, the fields validation rules of backend and front-end?
-
@Grumm I would understand if it was used ONLY for that purpose, but it's not, and I'm not buying :/
-
@electrineer I wish I knew
