Thanks a million @dfox and @trogus 😊
-
@Gatgeagent @rrishi @Nifled @jirehstudios @Treighton they are some swag from the PyDay on my city. Usually stickers are given in workshops and meetings, also shirts!
-
@g-m-f laughed so much at this 😂😂😂
-
@EkstrLabs from experience. For first projects you should never ever work in a project requiring to communicate the client more than a 10% of your worktime if things are not clear from scratch. You'll become mad on adding the new shitty feature the client wants, or changing all the concept in between, or answering a neverending emails stack... all of these leading to deadlines overpassed. It's just an opinion here.

This is absolutely horrible. Thought this just was happening in Spain, where people is tech-dumb and don't respect work done by others. Anyway, you should have said something like... "So... do you know how to rent conference rooms? How much do you earn? Well, I know how to make websites and if you want one you should pay the project in full or no deal at all. Take it or leave it but don treat me as dumb as I didn't with you from start."
-
@azous I can understand his joy then... 😂
-
So... you need one one week to get installed git on your computers? 😨
-
This is evil
-
If what I said doesn't make sense please explain why. Don't be useless.
-
Get out of there. Find anything better. If they are not allowed to change specs for the best of the program/deal with the client... is not a good place. Are they afraid to have a meeting with the client to say "hey we're gonna optimize this, this way"?...
-
Git documentation is another piece of crap. Really deep and complete, but never well defined for reading, using and understanding. No one looks for the git docs because they get lost and then they go find any kind of book like this. It makes me feel stupid, really.
-
@Letmecode because security. Think of some "black fucker" had stolen your password and you try to get the account back. You think is secure to establish your old password?
-
@masterbetty I did that (to leave all social media) for 3 months and it was really peaceful, really, but in some way I felt myself alone sometimes, apart from the world around, lost contact with lots of people... and got depressed. It's incredible the ammount of dependency social media has created. We are now social junkies. I'm using them now just for communication. I was a profesional procastinator. After this cure, now I'm focused on what to do with them.
