And what's the app gonna be called? manRant? 🤣
-
@cankarales high five, I'm 23 too!
-
They knew exactly what they were doing!

What language is she speaking?
-
Pretty sure that's just a string literal.
-
Sounds like a case of undefined behaviour! Compilers love to mess you up when you have undefined behaviour! Static analysers are good at warning about those, and then there's dynamic analysers for catching the bug.

What's a PO and SM?

Personally, I use the first one for functions longer than 3 lines and latter for functions with 3 or less lines, I think it makes it easier to read because I often find myself scrolling up to the top of a long function and I can see the single { line and I start looking down from there, I don't know, that's just the way I am used to doing it.
-
And adding to breaking things, I also somehow (although rarely) manage to break me trying to break the code. Like, I'll be trying to figure out a bug and I'll be like "let's try this, this definitely shouldn't work" AND THEN THE DAMN THING WORKS. THERE'S NO REASON FOR IT TO WORK!

They're being nice by giving you slightly more time to close or at least minimize the PHP sites you're visiting in your incognito window, if you catch my drift.

And don't forget a deep, dramatic sigh before every answer and occasionally change it up with a tired-of-your-shit, patronising, no-response face and just stare at them until they say something.

I pronounce it gif. Never heard anyone pronounce it G-I-F. @nikolatesla

Man, I would love to have a MacBook but I ain't paying for one!

Either the phone starts charging or neither due to this phenomenon called "data transfer" that the USB is primarily designed for so they communicate with each other.
-
Isn't this against YouTube's ToS though? Don't know how appropriate it is to share this here.
-
You should've said "Yes, I double checked, it's scheduled for tomorrow. Did *you* double check it?"
-
@jAsE Amen, brother. I'd imagine it to be really hard for a bot to do it, whilst it's really easy for humans.
-
It is very hard, actually. CPUs have gotten a ton better at it though and a heck of a lot faster in the last decade!
-
Keyboard is pretty nice too...

As I always say, Visual Studio is a great editor but lacks a decent C/C++ compiler!

What I'd do is wait a month. If after that they still haven't fixed it, make a blog post about finding it and warning all current and future developers about avoiding such issue. Then show that to the client and tell them you've already got a couple hundred views on it. If they're ignorant enough to ignore it for so long and they don't find it an issue, make it an issue. I'm not saying you need to write about your client in your blog post, I'm saying you should write about the bypass itself, describing how easy it was to find it and so on. Man, I'd love to write blog posts about finding bugs like that.

Returning 0 from main is redundant and you never flushed the cout stream and welcome to devrant! <3

I, too, like to use a blue backlight keyboard to compensate for the lack of blue I get from the screen due to the blue light filtering program that I use to lessen eye strain and being able to sleep better at night. </s>

@Letmecode Heavy metal, rock, reggae, music theory, religions, politics, socialising, ask me anything and I guarantee I won't know the answer (and won't care) and nobody cares that I don't know or care but I still had to comment that I don't know or care because I need people to know what I don't know or care about because that's totally what everyone cares about. </rant>
