@runfrodorun https://blog.cloudflare.com/inside-...
This one existed for over 10 years. What I'm trying to say is that the more code you have, the more chance it will be eventually exploited. -
@runfrodorun both have same effect, exploits are more common..
-
@runfrodorun linux has its exploits, you'd better have unfamiliar embedded architecture

@Bikonja yes but you still didn't convince me that women are born with a less logical brain yet, my claim is that it is a result of our culture and education that they might train their logical brains less. If you don't prove otherwise you are the exact person who spreads half truths and causes damage to women choices.
-
@Bikonja if you educate women on the fact that they suck at programming, they won't even try, there's a lot of academic research on that. For example, women begin to think they are worse at mathematics since they're 5, even though they score the same on mathematics tests at that age.
-
@fana-m by which device?
-
@runfrodorun I guess buying a second handed player from the 90s might be a bit safer to reverse wiring though, "cyber" warfare was less massive back then..
-
@Bikonja Do you have some valid research citations to protect your claims? Also, do you realize that saying that affects women psychologically and make them not even try to program because "it might be too hard" for them? Take care of your words.. It just seems like common chauvinism without academic citations.
-
@Bikonja this is a very flat comparison of a single aspect, logic is something your brain can develop, and I think people who are also creative can find much simpler and neat out-of-the-box solutions than their logical mates. A brain is a muscle, therefore if you train women to believe in their abilities and practice on them, their abilities are practically limitless

@Ashkin !important

Not related to CPU but to GPU, therefore the statement is incpurrect

++ for the inheritance addition to the good ol' joke

According to which metric *theory alert activated*

@SCamp oh god
-
Database and operating system are two nouns, it doesn't even make sense...
-
Genius
-
@CorruptComputer they already made chrome book for that feature
-
@JsonC11 the amount of memory reads is squared every time, it might work very slowly if you nest a vm in a vm, and even worse if you nest one more
-
@Krokoklemme it's easier
-
You get used to that... But I don't like your spacing

Oh god I think it happened to me in introductory C course back then 😂
And welcome to devRant! -
Is you are

@SpencerBeige we implemented multiple inheritance as a homework assignment, the amount of garbage classes (class which describes an object, a class which describes a class which describes an object, a class which describes a class, and hell fuck of more thinga to remember) make this language a true disaster in terms of ease of use, performance, simplicity and what else
-
@SpencerBeige I had some experience with Squeak (a later version). I can't describe how bad and frustrating this language is

NOT MONOSPACE?!@#$ *creaking sounds of the monospaced ghost*

According to Calculus 1 these results make perfect sense to me

Try to keep for yourself what you're learning, there's more chance you'll actually learn that and not just say you did :)

@Krokoklemme which implies that microsoft uses a typewriter API from 2 centuries ago
