@bluesdriven - yep, and once you feel comfortable, you'll prob start shifting both hands outward a little more from home row - it makes all the special chars easier/quicker to hit
-
I feel you there! Spreadsheet hell is the worst!
-
@bluesdriven - well that's awesome you're learning to type. It definitely helps a bunch in any coding-related field. Wish you the best of luck man!
Hardest part is getting the special characters down, but once you get that, you should see a tremendous uptick in your coding speed, which translates to more work done in less time :) -
Yeah, I feel ya. I hate learning my tools and being proficient at using them too :/
-
Wait, by "touch type" do you mean type without looking because I'm pretty sure that's just referred to as "typing"..........
-
I apologize for this not making a lot of sense - I was pretty heated at the time lol
-
@starless - my bad, none of the raw data used for the calculated fields is included in either report. They have to be queried from the DB.
So, this guy is essentially averaging the daily Average Speed of Answer (which is a mm:ss time value) & daily Abandon Rate (which is a percentage) thinking that it'll give him the monthly ASA & ABD %. -
A little 90's lookin, but I can dig it
-
Is this ^ Sam?!
-
You're a beast @dfox!
I knew it wasn't y'all because Reddit had the same issue. -
Only to find out that it was Ramorade in later versions...
-
@prodoxx - no offense whatsoever, but if you're still at Social Security Board Belize, I personally think that you should take a good long look at all the opportunities in front of you.
Again, not trying to be rude at all. I've worked with guys who did 9-5 for government departments, and it can make you negative about code without realizing it.
All I'm trying to say is it's 2016, and you got option$! -
This is common among most routers. One should be 2.4GHz (it'll normally reach further but not be as "strong" of a frequency as the other but is more-or-less considered the default frequency), and the other should be 5GHz which has a number of benefits including less crowded frequency, "stronger" than the other as long as you are near the AP, etc. The only cons would be distance and maybe some compatibility issues with some devices.

There's a video of a guy on YouTube that coded an app that he hooked up to a microphone taped on his wall. The app would analyze the decibel level of the audio, and whenever it hit a certain level, it would trigger a 20-30 second loop of some loud metal music that was played through two big ass sub woofers pointed at the wall.
... I think he said it worked after a week. -
Ah ok. Makes sense, my bad. Keep at it bro!
-
Joke, right? lol
-
Perfect timing lmao!
-
Question is - what are you gonna do about it now ;)
-
Is that a doghouse in the background?! If so, your dog lives like a king lol.
-
*grammar ;)
-
Sick setup
-
@marcel - this was not meant as some kind of quasi-race bait statement, so please do not try and make it one.
I just appreciate proper spelling and good grammar. Especially when reading a good rant. When there are misspellings and other issues, it sometimes makes it hard to follow along with what is being conveyed, which sucks when it's a great rant!
Also, I agree that OUR community does do one of, if not, THE BEST job of welcoming the entire world (I mean we did invent the Internet after all), and I love that!
So please remember the old adage before you comment: "when you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME"
I even misspelled "you" for you ;) -
I did the exact same thing with Atom but only made it 2 days..
-
@meros - amen bro
-
Bro. Run.
At least while you still can -
3 years... Wow... All they had to do was setup a new login with the required permissions/access.
-
Monokai
-
Yeah it was trippy
-
It's good but it can't hang with either of those in my opinion.
-
Please tell me someone got the "hello friend..." ref haha
I don't know why but I love that ^ line said in an Elliot voice
