I already have enough web browsers installed on my system without installing a web browser masquerading as a chat client. If I have to use it, I use it in an actual web browser or a Slack to IRC gateway.

@craig939393 There should be common sense limits to this principle. I’ve seen agile coaches trying to get us to break the simplest tasks into multiple issues that generate more overhead than actually doing it.

Skilled developers can get their work done on any OS. And yeah totally agree OS elitism is annoying and a big rolleyes. Learn to use em all.

@ScribeOfGoD CLI FTW. I haven’t used GitKraken but the last time i used a Git GUI there was no concept of “git add/checkout/reset -p” so I deemed it useless. And conflict resolution was a joke.

+1 on sublime. You still have to use your brain but you get all the niceties like multiple cursors and quick find and regex search and replace

@matsaki95 We Label when we opened it so we can identify milk that’s been open for a while and maybe should be thrown away. These cartons are UHT so the clock really starts ticking when they’re opened.
