@pttsky just saw this rant I was going to point it out if u didn't. Use it all the time. Love how terse it is.
-
@PoweredByCoffee dude...Your post just made me sad.
-
@rewert So let me get this straight. The person whose handle literally translates to God's record keeper was bitching about elitism. Now that is painfully ironic
-
@matanl dig it...Closer to the hardware
-
@avedis Just curious...Are u claiming safari in general doesn't support flexbox? And I'm shouting flexbox because it kicks ass and I pretty much use it daily.
-
Dude...Flexbox makes this rant irrelevant
-
I'm using freshbooks for time tracking (my clients pay by the hour) and invoicing. It's about $10 a month and has a lot of functionality I haven't even looked into.

This is what it means to be a software engineer. Your not alone by a long shot.
-
You can take a giant shit on chrome on ya want, but if your in web dev u still gotta deal with it. It's not going anywhere. And 4gb or even 8gb and your a developer? If your working for a company, that company sucks balls. If that's your personal...get a real machine. If your machine is hosed by 5 - 8 tabs being opened ( whatever the browser ), you got bigger problems than a fucking browser.
-
Dude...Time for some new hardware.
-
@saumilshah it is for students. If u still have a .edu u could at least take it for a test ride

I've been using webstorm for a while. Atom and visual studio are solid choices as well.
-
@arcadesdude Agreed man. Never sacrifice performance. Fast is good for everyone.
-
@arcadesdude I got the gist of what u were saying. I'm just saying that I've never encountered 'intentional slowdown' or worked with other engineers that would architect an application to slowdown for the sake of loading/progress indication animation. That's just...stupid
-
@arcadesdude dafuq? Intentional slowdown? Lol
-
Can't say I agree with ya there. Progress indictation for anything that takes more than a second is just good UX.
-
@indrajeet183 Your not going to be able to just copy react components into a react native project. React native is literally native so your not going to be using web elements like div or span. But the concept is similar
-
@kingspp Reacts data flow is unidirectional man, everything has a learning curve, and you can use redux with angular2 or ngrx. Ngrx uses the same pattern as redux (single store, immutable state tree) and ties in reactive programming (observables are really fucking cool). Anyway, react, angular, Vue... They're all great tools. Doesn't really matter which one u decide to build with.
-
@yourGrigor looks like upwork
-
@kaqqao async await is a godsend...And u hit the nail on the head in general btw
-
@redstonetehnik mission accomplished!

@redstonetehnik thanks man! And for the ++!

@finenthusiastic Amen
