I'm glad you were present at that meeting so you actually know what happened better than me.
-
@Fast-Nop did I say I just sat there and waited?
Me and my 2 colleagues stood our ground and explained to her our choices. Thing is she never listened and kept saying the same 3-4 things over and over.
We only wanted her to come talk to us before calling the meeting.
I'm blaming the communication method she chose here.
Thanks for your intelligent input full of compassion though.
You can go back to twitter insulting others cause they're not good enough for you and carry on with your life. -

I'd be happy to lose any phone where your dad could find it and hand it over to you!
That is kindness dedication!
Please let us know her reaction when she got her phone back :) -
Though you could --force them to...

There's a tail command though!

Can't for the client to ask for half star rating feature!!

Hahahahaha big bug's chest tattoo says "sprint 1".
Like it's been waiting there in the dark for months! -
I have the exact same feeling about once a week.
I'm a front end and my coworkers are back ends.
They're like heroes to me, I know nothing about what they do but it fascinates me and I always ask them to show me how they do it. They're very casual about their knowledge.
On the other hand, they call me the magician because I can get divs and spans to behave how I wanna. It's natural and logical to me, but they have no clue how to do it!
The good thing is _some of them_ are curious and ask me to teach them so they can understand a bit more what happens in the browser.
I'm glad we can share skills and that's why I like my job: I prefer learning from other people than from a book. -
@jmclemo6
I get your point, and it's not really what I meant, especially the firing them part.
I was just sad and angry because :
I just arrived on their team on an existing project;
They have a git workflow that just doesn't make any sense.
2 release versions, 2 branches, and they keep on merging one into the other;
Which means they didn't understand and/or master the powerful tool git is.
After a few minutes I calmed down and figured I'll offer to give them a quick git crash course and make workflow suggestions next time.
I hope you understand me better this time :) -
Whats your feedback on OP5?
-
The copying & pasting from SO sticker got me!
-
I'd like it to have topics too, like politics/

@azous
I read the same thing, but it did not happen in my install.
Installing Windows on its own partition didn't mess up anything else but its own partition. -
@zaftco from what I understand, grub, ubuntu's bootloader, is basically bypassed by windows' bootloader.
With a few commands you can reinstall your grub on the right partition.
My setup is now perfect, Ubuntu boots by default and I can switch to Win10 when needed. ie never haha.
I need win10 for current project btw -
Ubuntu for the win!!

-
Windows people everywhere...
Sad! -
Parse have long claimed they'd shut down their services, so you could've done this earlier. Just sayin :)
-
The opposite also exists.
"It sounds really difficult..."
10min later you're done.
*Looks at you like you're a genius
