@farah you've gotten tags wrong.
-
@Farah sorry, but you've misunderstood the platform. This is not for asking questions that could easily be solved with a quick Google search.
-
Welcome back!
-
@farah also, welcome to dR!
-
Folks, I think @farah is tryna say that calculating area of a circle in C++ is the best team win they had. It's tagged with weekly question. No need to get offensive lol.
-
Also, a computer is just a bunch of electrical/electronic circuits turning ON and OFF
-
More productive. Got lots of stuff done quickly, coz office had more distractions in general. But however, currently in burn out phase, so 2-3 weeks of difficulty in shitty and passing out quickly.
-
You don't have to read through the docs if there's no docs to read.
-
Last week after the release, I upgraded flutter and the project stopped compiling. Technically, I was left with a master branch that doesn't work. I had to delete and regenerate android and iOS folders and redo all changes selectively. It was such a PITA.
-
This place is full of shit (pun intended)
-
@lucolombo Also, welcome to dR!!
-
I knew python initially, and a little bit of html. I started off doing flask apps, then later expanded to explore more of front end stuff before diving deeper into backend stuff. I find it's generally better to jump between the two.
-
@C0D4 you forgot to mention sleep deprivation.
-
I just used to put the headset on, without playing anything so people don't bother me while I'm working. :)
-
How'd it go?
-
Hence, ignorance is bliss
-
And another time I remember the failed attempt to prank, by essentially using a for loop on terminal to create a dialog that said "you've been hacked" and moving that terminal onto another desktop so it's not visible. But when she came back, she mindlessly turn off the other display coz it was lunch time and we went to lunch. Never got to see the reaction
-
I remember a couple of instances, once it was sending a party invite to the team's mailer list. Another time it was, "Hey folks, It's been my dream to become a president since when i was a kid. I really want y'all to support me. X for president! "
-
I came here for the comments. It was worth it 😂😂
-
Did someone say docker?
-
@Voxera fuck. That's the last thing I wanted to see. Mixing html with c# 😒. Now I want to wash my eyes with bleach.
-
Well, the users hardly use the product the way it was intended, even with a great intuitive UI and documentation. I can't even imagine them with json lol. 😂
-
@Voxera hopefully they are significantly better for devs. I just hope it doesn't turn out like jsp. Mixing java and html was a shit show, atleast the syntax was.
-
Just the app
-
@Voxera I agree to the point you made, given the current state of the web, html can't be replaced entirely. But however, shouldn't adding higher levels of abstraction help?
Lemme explain, we thought Java was irreplaceable, but then kotlin made an appearance, providing 100% interoperability with Java. Now the user need not know java to write code that run on jvm anymore, coz kotlin takes care of that.
I think flutter for web, seems cool rn, although it's still in its early stages. If it succeeds, then user will only have to learn dart and flutter itself and need not worry about how it gets compiled down. -
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
-
@ReverendLovejoy gold!
-
@cim979, your first rant on dr! Welcome!

A MANIAC!
