Have you continued with the interview? Maybe you get two salaries from the same company! 😆
-
Perfectionism of encapsulation!!
-
Oh man... In a month I will have my first son and I am already figuring out this scenario... Hiw hard is it? Maybe you can compensate with some naps along the day...
-
I do not understand either why electron is so popular, even though I like vscode. Anyway, I came from c++ and Qt is for me the more polished and sophisticated solution for Desktop apps.
-
@Fast-Nop Idon't agree but I understand your point of view. Have you seen Overleaf? It has a great potential. A saas that allows multiple peers to work concurrently in the same latex document with several tips and examples.
-
@Fast-Nop If you have several templates or previous documents written in Latex you can easily copy those snippets... You do not have to study Latex again. The problem would be to define a specific template. In this case, you should master Latex, otherwise it is a hell...

Some time ago I used wine to install MS Office in Linux. It was working like a charm. I highly recommend it.

Hey! I check my spam daily, because is the only box that can keep empty 😆😆

My deepest nightmare!!!

Your son will program with Q# in Android Studio 🤣🤣

How hard is to code in Vim? I only use it to modify some config files and I really do not understand how people is coding in Vim. You cannot jump between files, syntax errors are not highlighted, you cannot see your project structure, and so on...
-
@electrineer Yes, I was thinking the same. It is really weird to receive credits in a rejection... It seems a marketing strategy.
-
It's getting more difficult to detect the gmail tab with this design....
-
Yes,@ArtOfBBQ and compilers makes magic optimizing your code! You could have problems with the memory management, but if you succeed your program is really optimized.
-
C++ has not been adopted very well for the web developer community. I wouldn't try to force circumstances. On the hand, I am not neither opposed to learn new technologies, but the way I did was a really nightmare...
-
It is intentionally. They are pushing you through your limits using this kind of provocation and they are succeeding :)

@electrineer I am a freelancer and when I bought it I was in a very important project, so It was really essential for me. I've assumed the vague pixels in the screen and even the battery problem, but it was disappointed.
I don't think CPUs are the problem. Acer has a i7 4710HQ and Msi an i7 10710U. It was a new model so I can only searched for the hardware components. These days I have been looking for reviews and there are some guys complaining as me but others didn't find it noisy. For me fan cpus at 3000 rpm are noisy but maybe it's not for a gamer laptop. I am not using it for playing video games, only for coding. -
@C0D4 Exactly, it was maddening when the battery died so quickly and then the screen... However, I've been using it very intensive during 5 years and right now I am kind of happy with my purchase.
In general, MSI's laptops are more reliable than Acer, but the fan detail is disappointing, but my hope is to fine tune the fans and solve it. We will be see if I succeed. -
@NoMad I don't think so. My battery crashed the first year and I use to work with laptop's GPU to build DL models or make predictions with already trained models.
-
And what's the problem? You can continue working if you are connected to the power, isn't it?
-
To build a NAS!
-
@Kyu96 yes, I was just kidding :)
-
It's a waste of time. Most of these 21TB are puplicates node modules not excluded from gitignore...
-
@JS96 Python user way of life
-
You are perverse!!! :) I totally though it was real.
-
It's a final test to check that you have understood the function.
-
You have self-upgraded to a Zen programmer!
-
5 jobs in the specialized area of camel case conversion!
-
@sandeepbalan Haha You read my mind!
-
Mmmm... So, next.js is recommended to replace node?
