So I've gotten my first real assignment. I'm a second year media design student in the Netherlands. My job is to work out a design I've made for a platform into some front-end. The website just has to function as a product to show other people to get an idea of how it will look. It has to be responsive and has like 3 pages: Frontpage where all kinds of courses are displayed, the course page itself and a page with information about the site.
Long story short: they asked me how much that'll cost them. And I have no clue what I should answer. I think I can make this pretty quick so hourly pay would not be beneficial for me I think. What is the devrant opinion or what are your experiences with first jobs2
Low motivation sucks. Just set small goals and reward yourself. Not too much though, it'll only make you lazier. I use 5217 allot when I'm working to get into a bit of a flow.
When studying I like to work with some other people, when they are focused I get focused too. And you can talk if you need a break, doesn't consume as much time as a YouTube spree
Student here, what's the best code editor you guys have used for web development? I used brackets but we have to make stuff with php and I can't get the syntax to work. So I'm thinking about switching back to Atom.29
