@AleCx04 Sorry for late answer but hey, thank you so much. You've supported me so much even tho I'm not really that active lately and I'm really thankful for that. Thank you man
-
@deviloper Thanks!
@Mosesrocks If you "just wanna pass" then don't do college I'd say -
@PappyHans The professor had nice attitude. And yeah, degrees aren't quite useful in CS branch, that's why many consider Uni useless. For me it's not about degree tho
-
Also "CS universities are all bs just learn programming yourself" fuck off.
I know these things and I genuinely think that CS universities are the most useless (for example compared to laws, medicine etc.) but that doesn't make them useless and I know very well why I went to one -
@kamen Paging ? You mean like storing pages of memory to disc ? Cuz paging is also the thing with virtual memory being split to pages , right ? Just curious about this topic
-
@spongessuck It's got private ArrayList for one night stands
-
Check out CodingTrain on YouTube. For no programmers, I would argue it's absolutely the BEST source to learn it all. Start with the intro playlist, it's unbelievably complete, easy, fun and if you watch him enough, you'll be able to learn some fucking high level concepts. Good luck!
-
@Root I almost thought that noone would understand it in the age of VM languages or JavaScript / python all over the place... Luv ya'
-
@hitko Could you elaborate on that "window manager-level" ? I thought that it's the app doing the drawing (never done Linux dev) , and window manager is just *somehow* helping making it all look nice and smooth.. Have you got any sauce on these things ? Thanks!
-
Like @asgs said, just try to increase learning rate or increase the size of the data. Also try different cost function, might help
-
TODO : 1. Opensource it and let people help you
2. Link to the list -
What site / competition is that ? Is it public ?
Seems like a fun thing to try out! -
@Gregozor2121 Microsoft likes to keep stuff consistent. Didn't you see with all the UWP frontends for all the "legacy" apps ?
-
@Ryhazerus I took writing this on my phone as a challenge proving my endurance and superiority to everyone.
-
BTW looks like they use custom structs and shit for everything.
"Reinventing the wheel since 1975" - Microsoft -
Well, if there were infinite amount of those 9s, it would actually be v1.0 soooooo [include meaning here]

@kenogo Dude. Encryption is like the key point of a VPN. Unencrypted is something like proxy.
SSL isn't all. There are *many* ways to misconfigure it. Also, privacy is one of the main reasons for VPN which SSL doesn't give you.
But not visiting non-HTTPS sites sounds nice but not really plausible if you surf the internet a lot. VPN just encapsulates it all in a safe tunnel. -
@kenogo Encrypting all your incoming/outgoing traffic
-
@Omnisus Going to next year
Maybe yeah, maybe not. But these people are often so damn clever.
They were looking at the night sky and talking like "... next to the star CX3911P is ..." and seriously, what on Earth.. You could of course know few stars and then act clever but I think that's not what those folks did.. -
@kenogo Czech Republic 😁
-
@PrivateGER But where do you get such experience ?
-
@BurnoutDV I'm not talking about DBs or Excel. I mean real API for work with 3D content
-
@Unai Thanks! I kinda wish not 😂
-
OMG slovenští bratia používají devRant
-
@NickyBones Yeah that's what I meant, that matrix operations are actually faster than for loops even tho the result is the same.
-
@BigBoo Not a particular one. I just saw this as a general concept utilized from C++ to Python
@NickyBones This is what I think. The underlying code written almost in assembly gives it so much power
So pound to pound, are these libraries really only meant to simplify the code ? Andrew Ng said in one of his videos that using for loops is actually SLOWER so I'm just confused now -
This was actually my response to someone on eBay pointing out that I should not buy the Commodore 64, I should just emulate it with my RPi 3..
No. -
@telephantasm Thanks for being honest, I value this. Maybe. I don't remember know why I did this, just helped me vent a bit
@joycestick Thanks for this amazing view
@Santaclauze This is what helps me; get better every day
@danderson00 You're awesome. Seeing the bad sides of IT is really valuable and you still see it even after 20 years in the game! Love that, getting little bit above
@sladuled Haha, you actually made me laugh with the brackets, I get you. Awesome. Thank you
And everybody.. Thank you, I value everything you write, seriously -
@DragTu @AleCx04 You guys want me to melt.. I feel like crying inside from this.. Just thank you... Thank you so much..
Every word you write, it's just something I'm gonna think about when I wake up and get as much as I can from it and ah, this really makes me feel so much better..
Thank you.. Really.. And good night (at least for me, I'm gonna get to you in the morning) -
I'mma get some sleep now. Hope to sleep it away (if it makes any sense; whatever), wish you luck guys.. In anything you do, really
Sorry if I ruined the fun here.. Just continue devRanting, it's just me ventilating in a weird way and not really knowing what I'm doing.. But hey, I'm eighteen, sounds appropriate (which reminds me of a dude from devrant who had his company at 17 yo and was making a living by writing web pages, yeah, sounds like, you're just way too awesome, guys..)
