@AleCx04 have you tried Vlang yet? I think it‘s actually pretty similar to Go and Rust and it also handles errors differently to what you criticized. Why not check it out, it‘s still really new though😅

It‘s kinda funny... I grew up in a smaller city in Germany and we got an update through the Telekom, we were working through „Funk“ before and had a data cap with about 1mbit/s. So now we have 100mbit/s and was really suprised how fast the internet could be. Well I was even more suprised when I was looking up plans for the city I‘m moving to and just realized that we could even have 400mbit/s if we just lived in bigger cities.

I get what you mean, but isn‘t it true that divide and conquer algos like merge or quick are slower with smaller already kinda sorted datasets than other algos such as selection or insertion? I guess thats what he meant

I find it quite overwhelming sometimes to search for that stuff, so many people telling you to learn that or that. So I would also go to a colleague I trust and ask them for advice. Take it as a compliment he knows you as the „goto programmer guy“.
