In which country are you working? If you don't mind me asking?
-
Yep, thats basicly the plan. :-)
-
No Sorry... Not enough experience.
-
So 80 - 120 hrs. I would go with a CMS. I tried to build a backend for a website with limited experience in my part. Everything took a lot longer than expected. So for this time frame i would use as much prebuild stuff as possible.
-
How much time do you have? Any skills in a backend language?
-
Yeah, but what you are doing is super inefficient and super unhealthy... So' im guessing it's a life or death thing to get this page going? I pulled an all nighter two months ago... And IMO it wasn't worth it.
-
Nice! Thanks for mentioning it.
-
What page is so important?
-
About 7 hours. Going to bed around 23:30 - 23:45 and getting up around 7 in the morning.
-
Impressive! Most impressive!
-
And the Nightmare continues... Although not my fault this time. Turns out the spreadsheet i got and used as basis for the script was false... *Slams head in desk*
-
Aye!
-
Haha No :-)
-
What are they doing wrong? What are the problems with their code?
-
Thanks! I think i got a solution. But will continue tomorrow. Can't focus anymore.
If it works i will let you know. -
Yep... But this happened on monday, was discoverd today and the bosses don't want to lose 3 days...
-
Don't spoil
-
From Hannover as well! I'm in.
-
Worked with me :-D
-
Omg, i'm dying laughing...

:'-D

Unit Test the shit out of it... And stick to good design principles. Just imagine the developer who takes over after you is a violent psychopath who knows where you live. ;-) (Yes, i still that sentence).
-
Made me laugh and i needed that. Thanks :-D
-
Your very welcome :-)

Ok, than i would try to compensate the lack of vacation with small weekend trips. Try to get out on friday, do something completly different than programming, maybe traveling or visiting friends. And be back on Sunday evening. My guess is that you will feel better and are better able to focus on Monday. In long term i would try to make changes at work that enable you to take longer vacations.
-
Do you have the weekend off?
-
What is the subject?
-
Start-up?

Awesome, what kind of Sports do you do? Sleepwise that would be not enough for me. I think your coding and your sports will both benefit from a little more sleep. As more sleep means more regeneration, more energy, better ability to Focus and think. I would do the following try to go 4 weeks with 7 hours and 4 weeks with 8 hours. See when you feel best. If it's 6 hours you can always go back after 2 months. But i would try it for two months. Besides sleep... Get break once in a while. Try to do something completly different. Clear your head, so that you can have a fresh look at the code. You seem to do a lot which is awesome. Get some good rest in there as well, so you can keep up the pace and don't get burned out.

Sounds really stressful. Are you getting enough sleep? When was your Last vacation?
