@AvatarOfKaine for me upgrade from 34 to 35 went sideways. Previously the upgrade from 33 to 34 made it perfectly fine, however I later reinstalled it because I switched to "Nobara" - an unofficial community Spin by GloriousEggroll. Note that I experienced the same issues on my work PC with regular Fedora.
Also, I'm using KDE not Gnome - I was a fan of Gnome until I got fed up with all my extensions always breaking. -
@AvatarOfKaine my only complaint is that the upgrade process between major releases is still such a p.i.a. - sometimes works swimmingly, other times you just give up and fresh-install.

I have maybe 4-5 monitors ... out of those only two of them aren't hidden in my closet or under my desk disconnected. (Hey - you asked how many monitors I have 😆 )
At home:
Old 32" LCD LG HDTV as my main monitor and a 21" LCD HP Monitor as my secondary - I do everything (whatever that might be) on main monitor and use the secondary monitor to keep comms (Discord, Skype, Telegram, Element, Whatsapp) when needed, or maybe have some media playing.
At work I use two 21" IPS LCD Dells + built-in laptop screen when needed, but mostly do everything on the two Dells. -
I appreciate the effort and keeping an eye on the possible problems but I also don't quite see how could it all collapse. If anything, Covid forcefully showed us that it's possible. We have the technology, we have the knowledge - we can make it better, we can make it stronger. Jobs that absolutely can't be done remotely are still done in-person, just like during Covid. For other jobs, in the meantime, it proved how many and how easily they can really be done remotely.

I pronounce it as "Oh sh** what broke now?"

@TeachMeCode outsourced across the globe, with meetings too early and too late in the night for any sane person.

@notroot the application applies for residency permit, I imagine you can download it if you authenticate with your government employee eID. :D :D :D

@netikras yes! Guilty of this too - both fir pins and for passwords on my priv keys ... I know the key combo sequence (I'm still looking for a solution that would allow me to go passwordless via Fido key) but I couldn't spell it out to someone or write it down on a post-it note. PINs are relatively simple - just have to remember the area on the numpad and you can figure it out.
Reminds me of a cool android lockscreen which randomized the numbers displayed and their respective location (so even if someone saw which keys you press, they couldn't guess which digits correspond to which button based just on location alone). -
Same, but kinda with devRant app ... Open, skimm through, close, open app drawer snd open devRant up again... realize you just closed it - close it back down again.

Congrats.

Could be worse ... Could've been the landscapers going wild at the damn hedge for 4 fu**ing hours.

@stop don't do it for like 999 accounts ... have a pool of emails - have a cooldown before the email is reused as well as a cooldown before the account is being deleted.
-
But would it be enough to create an account, delete it, then register a new account under the same email? 🤔

And speaking of weird dreams... it was during a weekend when I was dreaming about removing a chunk of excessive/unneeded part from a Dockerfile for a container ... running on me (as in - people run on containers). I woke up soon after that ...way early in the morning with a spitting headache....
-
@soull00t I'm now a little worried as to what happens with our universe when someone dreaming it wakes up...

@jonas-w yes - that! I think there even was a GPS Nav as an add-on app for it available, which worked rather well. This was back in like 2013 tho when I looked into it.
@AvatarOfKaine actually, I think "Here" maps, originally made by Nokia, now owned by Audi, I think. Should cover it as well..
