You have to generate unique ids. That's all. If you can't generate unique id thus you can't ensure that is not already used. End of discussion.
And you have to accept something: you can't avoid collision. So, play around, and find a way to fix collisions. -
Never seen that before !! This is amazing !Geniuses ! You made my day 😂😂

Learning new technology is a part (maybe the main) of the job. Don't ask for this. If someone ask you, why you're late on a task : I am taking more time than usual because I have to understand how this new thing works.
But, don't hesitate to quit. Managers (and all f*unkin useless positions) have to deeply understand this fact: we, developers, are making the hard work. No devs, no product, no money, no managers. -
1. If you want full control on what happen, you can use websocket :
A. Send slice of your data
B. Get percent from your server
C. Display data
D. GO TO: A
2. Just google it. They are pletor example and resources about this subject : try 'react redux login router auth'
Cheers ;) -
@whatevel When i was student, i found my self in the same position. There is what i did :
I did the project alone, as fast as possible. No perturbation. No explanation. No pairing. ON MY OWN. Just finishing the project. After that, I shared my knowledge as fast as possible until the deadline. At the end, I let my mate decide what is the best for him. Trying to cheat the teacher, or be honest. I got a 20/20. He got a 10/20 for the sake of the honesty (and the try hard).

Give him some useful links to learn to code. In the mean time, do the project. When the project is done. Share with him, if you have the time. -
Be a hero, just do it for your conscience :)
Teach him Haskell and sleep well.
After all, what's left is what you leave to others. -
You can be proud -) GJ ! 👏👏👏👏

@Nawap @irene So, GOTO are like 'Quest code' x) . For the sake of fun, why not :D . The game is not what the code does, but the code itself.
I guess it can be incredibly instructive and funny -
Imagine a book wrote randomly and each paragraph is pointing to another... is it more readable than a classical book ?
Do not forget that : 'code' is a language to simplify communication between humans, HUMANS, not machines. The main 'job' of a developper is 'code for humans, code for readability' not code for machines. Remember, machines are just binary code.
What do you think about that ? -
@plusgut Asking for a dev to work in NFC mode is like asking a bird to walk... its possible, but really weird, isnt'it ?
