Notepad Next is a Qt-based desktop application that provides the same look and feel as Notepad++ and is built using the same core library used for text editing and syntax highlighting. It is fairly stable but far from complete.

    @yellow-dog I've seen a few projects use the name Notepad# and they are usually written in C#.

    I cant say I'm perfectly fine with the name "Notepad Next" but it works for now.

    @yellow-dog You could notice there are likely bad associations with "#" at the end of any word, especially "C"

    @u-m-a It's not really a Notepad++ clone and not up to the original. It's more like a shitty Tux game vs. the original.
