I promise! Just because you can add ANN (Artificial Neural Network) doesn't mean you should!

    Well there ARE very valid applications for ML...

    @theCalcaholic, Of course, there are. But when "someone" thinks that it should be used everywhere that's when it becomes a problem.

    also rant, not at you.

    Buddy, just because you like the Phillips-Head Screwdriver doesn't mean that it's applicable in every situation. Please know that you're going to have a bad time if you want to screw in a hex screw with just that tool.

    My point being, learning to use the right tools for the job at hand. I love ML and AI and what it's capable of doing but don't think for a moment that it needs to be everywhere.

    @iSwimInTheC *Speaks with many synthetic voices at once* But it WILL be everywhere!

    I hate the phrase 'AI', btw. It's so imprecise...

    @theCalcaholic I agree. but it's a good coverall

    Give this guy a medal for this rant

    I love to add different Machine Learning techniques to almost everything. Why? Just out of curiosity what it is truly capable of. I love to try that out and see it with my own eyes. I totally hype it 😋

    But yeah, when it comes to business even I weight it against the resources.

    Overall I think the current hype in terms of cs is kind of a breadth-first search to find valuable applications for ml, so I like it.

    @iSwimInTheC It is, but it costs a lot more than it's intended, especially for people who have no idea what it's actually about.
