What's the read speed on a floppy?

@jAsE I use to have some of those. What I want to know is why all the floppies I bought in the early 2000s are full of bad sectors, but I can pull one out from 1992 and it is perfect. Maybe QA was just like screw it nobody is going to use these next year.

I remember this shit! Only to find out disk 24 of ms office for Windows 3.1 was corrupt! Fml

Imagine we had devRant back then. There would be a shitload of rants about the fucking bad sectors on disk 7 out of 8. Or the darn CRC errors...
