So I tried IntelliJ. Interesting UI...but it’s bullshit that I have to pay for a subscription to integrate with Application servers. No thanks, I will stick with Eclipse. It’s free and in my opinion easier to use. IntelliJ is pretty, that’s for sure...but the value sucks.

Value sucks? Far from it. It's no vim, but it's really great, from an Ultimate subscriber point of view. I use IntelliJ literally every day, and I'm very, very happy with it, but yeah, it's sucky you need to pay for such. I'd recommend just hitting me up on mail (proximyst@proximyst.com) and I'll give you my license server address to get ultimate. It's *ultimately* (my puns are great, alright?) a better IDE than Eclipse when you first get into it.

One thing that is great about it is the support. You got an issue regardless of how stupid it is, you send them an email and not even 5 mins later you get detailed instructions of what to do for your particular issue. Which means a shitload when going against time constraints. I still much prefer Eclipse due to having several years already invested in it.
