typosaurus12232322dAlso, Netflix, Amazon and tictoc explicity opted out. You have to watch Netflix in browser.
You keep promoting your site huh? :) Too many ads! -
Demolishun35074322dSeeing vids of people in the wild using these. Some getting pulled over driving with this on, some stopping in the street in the crosswalk to adjust something in the program. I don't understand why people have no sense of danger. I tell my kids to not use their phone waking across the street or parking lot. To also limit on sidewalk because it could make them a target due to being distracted of their surroundings. Plus people will snatch phones too.
How long before there is a death associated with these? -
shovethisrant5987322dApple is such a fucking shit company any more - why is everything just fucking trash? Can the world just fucking end already and destroy us all. I don’t want to live in this stupid fucking hellscape anymore
-
asgs11278322d@Demolishun it is not just kids anymore. All generations are fucked. Only the ones who can't read or operate a phone are the ones spared from this misery

Demolishun35074322dDoes anyone know if there is any kind of peripheral visions on this device? I have to use my peripheral when driving.
-
ars14089321d@Demolishun it is supposed to be full VR that reconstructs your surroundings, it is not AR. So technically you are not seeing reality, and are at the mercy of what the device puts in your field of view. I do not know how far their sensors/cameras go but I guess at some point you do not see objects that are far away. Which should make sense, you are supposed to wear this while at home.
-
Demolishun35074321d@ars1 ty for explaining. So you won't see that car that is going to t-bone you is my guess.
-
ars14089321d@Demolishun yes. Anyone wearing this outside of home / office / any other safe area is trying to get nominated for a Darwin Award.
-
thebiochemic3012321d@Demolishun if you compare the apple vision pro, the field of vision is lower than the fov of other headsets, like the quest or valve index. However, you don't have hard data that you can actually compare, because apple being apple again, so it's nore of a "people compare it themselves" thing

Parzi8663321dSo when's the open-source toolchain launching, and are we taking bets on Apple using U-Boot?
