There's the German verb “plenken” which, as far as I know, has no English translation. It means to insert a inappropriate space before a punctuation mark.

Germany has something much worse. Due to the accent key on keyboards, people will use it instead of the apostrophe and end up typing massive full-width would-be apostrophes.
