I've been asked if I would want a job as an "IT guy" when I graduate.

I just chuckle and say I'll have to consider it. It's best to not be an asshole about it, since they care enough to put forth the effort.

I'm actually just a programming hobbyist at the moment. I studied Product Design in college. It's been really relieving having the questions move from, "So what kind of products do you want to design?" to "Oh, what's that?" It's a lot easier to explain when I don't have to back people up from their assumptions.
