I formatted my entire hard drive, installed an unlicensed windows 8.1 and ran a shit ton of cracked patching on it; even went hunting for a fuckload of drivers, just so I don't have to use Windows 10.

"But it's not so bad" you say. Well, merry Christmas to you and your six hours of unskippable, non-disablebale updates per week, strategically placed to cause maximum disruption to your work, my friends.

@alcatraz627 🤷🤷 And I don't think I've had to update my PC more than once or twice in almost 2 years. (My parents could have updated without me knowing, but they usually ask before doing stuff like that.)

(And for my laptop, pretty sure it was the Fall Creators update, so it's not exactly the same as the forced updates, at least in my book.)

Fully updated Windows 10 user, I make sure to checking for updates and install any I see I've a week if I'm doing important work that week. Otherwise, I shut it down once a week so it can update during the time it's on while I sleep at night. Set your active hours, that does tons.
