I'm still performing the sin that got me into my first real programming language:
Bukkit Plugins ...

    How is that a sin?

@Cyanite Because the MC-Community is very toxic.
There are a lot of people that call themselfes a developer even if they only know the basics and Bukkit-API. But nothing more about the language.

Been there. Actually thinking about going back there... That was fun, and I have a world edit plugin to make...

@AlgoRythm A own one? I just use the API from them whenever I need it.
I would say that there is no need to make one of your own. There are at least a dozen "Async" versions anyway.

@LinusCDE I have fun making them. It is a game, after all. I think I could make it more convenient to use than WE. Even if I fail terribly I will still have fun.

@AlgoRythm Not bad. I'm personally stuck at making custom stuff like sub-systems (clans, crates etc.) for a server.
I never had the intention to make my mc-plugins public.bI just do not want to have the hassle of making the plugins compatible with all servers.
Everthing that wouldn't need custom code, I would consider as to simple for myself.

@LinusCDE Well if anything comes of my world edit (Sculpt™) I'll be sure to let you know, perhaps the servers you work on could benefit from it.

@AlgoRythm Nice. You can keep me updated. Although I try to focus more on MC unrelated projects, I guess I'll never be able to get out of that word completly.
I'm just pityful for the server I'm keeping alive. And you can make some money from it, too. 🤑

@LinusCDE I know of some architects who also like VoxelSniper, GoBrush and Paintbrush. Maybe you can take some inpiration from this plugins, too.

@LinusCDE There's definitely a giant market for it... The only issue is it's all reddit-quality shitcode. You're better off writing something yourself than trying to understand whatever some 14 year old script kiddie hacked together.

@AlgoRythm Thats the reason why I consider it a sin. You're just imediately connected with this Kiddies. Just hurting your image.
So never associate it with your real name/mc-nick.

@LinusCDE Whatever pays the fuckin bills though dude. Some people move garbage all day or strip for money. MC Plugins aren't that much of a sin, in perspective.

@AlgoRythm In a devcommunity like this, I still wpuld consider it to be the worst kind of dev.
Someone who only can make so called "Bukkit/Spigot pkugins" can not be cosidered a real dev. And think about what a company would think sbout yku ehen you put in your CV: "5 years of minecraft plugin experience". 😂😂
