Started with Sublime after cussing at vi (not vim). Switched to Atom because of the plugins, consistent experience between Win/Mac/Linux and ended up with the Jetbrains suite with a pinch of vim.
They're all tools to me. -
Skipp23468y@T3hbeowulf jetbrains software is just amazing. They actually make you WANT to do stuff

@liverreich close the windows and we can talk :p I can't hear you over the noise of all the bugs.

@erasmuswill i think you mix up visual studio code and visual studio cancer.
code is open source and available on mac and linux too. now love me -
@liverreich you mean UAC password prompt please?
you do not have access to that command. this will be reported to the system administrator -
@liverreich it's simple, just sudo rm windows ;) Linux is such an upgrade. I really feel sorry for you if you are forced to keep using that excuse of an operating system.

Yeah, I tried Atom and immediately switched back to ST. Atom's neat but it's incredibly slow compared to Sublime.

macleod15378ySwitched to sublime a few weeks ago from atom and VSC, my life has been so much better and so much more productive.
Sublime *makes* me want to get shit done happily. -
Do you guys mostly use an text editor over an IDE? I mainly program Java and really live the help an idea can give you. Sticked with Intellij IDEA from the start of (the ultimate edition is heaven *__*)

Skipp23468y@SirWindfield for quick oneline edits i just open notepad++, for actual projects i use phpstorm. Brackets is nice but it gets very sluggish once you install several plugins
