heh i had same feeling, but backwords. went from sub to atom.

Started with Sublime after cussing at vi (not vim). Switched to Atom because of the plugins, consistent experience between Win/Mac/Linux and ended up with the Jetbrains suite with a pinch of vim.

    They're all tools to me.

@liverreich it's simple, just sudo rm windows ;) Linux is such an upgrade. I really feel sorry for you if you are forced to keep using that excuse of an operating system.

Sublime is so much faster. Couldn't handle the snow loading in Atom.

Yeah, I tried Atom and immediately switched back to ST. Atom's neat but it's incredibly slow compared to Sublime.

Switched to sublime a few weeks ago from atom and VSC, my life has been so much better and so much more productive.

Sublime *makes* me want to get shit done happily.

Do you guys mostly use an text editor over an IDE? I mainly program Java and really live the help an idea can give you. Sticked with Intellij IDEA from the start of (the ultimate edition is heaven *__*)

@SirWindfield for quick oneline edits i just open notepad++, for actual projects i use phpstorm. Brackets is nice but it gets very sluggish once you install several plugins
