Just wanted to explain weekends in our calendar to @calmyourtities, so I thought I could brag a little too!
We use Jalali calendar in Iran, which corresponds to the astronomical year. But the interesting thing is about week days, which is ordered as follows:
Shanbeh
Yek(one)-Shanbeh
Do(two)-Shanbeh
Se(three)-Shanbeh
Char(four)-Shanbeh
Panj(five)-Shanbeh
Jom'eh (weekend)
It starts a from Saturday (Shanbeh) to Thursday (Panj-Shanbeh) which are work days and ends with Friday (Jom'eh) which is holiday. But did you notice the point?
