My advice? Unix/linux. Then you can have even worse driver support but more power to fix things.

Currently running a system restore, and I'd move over to Linux if there was more driver support tbh, and I need visual studio for uni, and virtual machines just doesn't cut it sometimes

@magis what do you use for virtual machines. At work we use VMware workstation with no problems

Uninstall and delete the driver from the Device Manager, then reinstall it.
