Our HR guy is a tool. He requested I help him extract some data from our database. Which based on what he requested I supplied he then started trying to bully me because the data I gave him wasn’t what he wanted. Ringing me every 5 mins asking if it was ready, comparing me to another colleague who wrote the system.

When we blew up at him telling him to back off he continued. Anyway he still works here and persists in being a tool. i on the other hand ignore him.

I’m pretty sure that the HR bullying an employee is wrong, not massively worried about it just annoyed

The reality of mental illness is too much for some. Do something kind and reach out to someone who is struggling but not asking for help. If everyone just reaches out to one person a massive difference can be made.

Just been reading a comparison between .net core 2 and .net 4.7 it appears .net core 2 is being highly optimised giving a huge increase in performance compared to .net 4.7

I can't help but wonder how it compares to .net core 1.1

Linux doesn't need viruses people fuck that shit up themselves

Last week we commenced a programming project on a machine that was being built for a customer with a view to them coming to test machine in 8 working days, we spent 2.5 days re wiring due to bad electrical design, a further two days changing mechanical design, and I have had half a day coding. We now have three days before customer comes and about three weeks work to do. Might be some long days

First job was coding voice alarm s Systems (1998) primarily using Delphi and programming act microcontrollers using avrco pascal and act assembler.

They were happy days

Once I wrote a tool to help convert alarm messages from an excel sheet into an xml file with other specific things included.

My colleague (who is very proficient at coding in his chosen system) while I was writing said tool asked why I was commenting code as it was basic!

I asked him to work out what my code was doing (it wasn't mega complex) he spent a long time googling!

People you need to sleep an average of 7 hours a night your body needs this to stop ill health. Working through the night/mega long hours for nearly two years nearly caused me to have a breakdown.

Please be healthy! Working Long hours doesn't make you cool or a more valued employee.

I don't get devs who root/jail break their devices to pirate software I know there are other reasons to jailbreak /root but come on!
