phlp838y@code-maniac sorry for my short answer. Iam a webdev and in my company all android devs are working with android studio. Its build on top of the intellij IDE and from google. Download it and search for beginner tutorials.

There are plenty of options, can use xamarin or android studio although android studio might be easier for now.

four0four158yI took an Android dev class last semester at school, it was pretty challenging and I got into it. we used Android studio and Android for beginners book which you can buy off Amazon.
