Schizophrenia is death without Iife

@devJs you're describing dissociative personality disorder, but on steroids. As dissociative patients dive into one of their “lives”, the reality of that life is no different from what healthy people experience. In schizophrenia, the fabric of reality itself is broken. There are terrible disorders like what I have (Bipolar type I) that make people suffer, but nothing comes close to certain kinds of schizophrenia. It's the only disorder with oneiroid episodes, which are THE peak suffering the human mind is capable of feeling. It's more painful than heroin withdrawal syndrome in every way. Being skinned alive is less painful.

I'm so obsessed about schizophrenia because figuring out how to treat it and figuring out how the human brain works are the same thing. You can't have one without the other.

@kiki i was kinda kidding in my previous message, i am aware what schizophrenia stands for, I have some people in the wider family with it. Also Bipolar I is tough thing to handle, you are strong person if you are managing it!

Spiritually, schizophrenia is literally shattering of the soul in many different systems of the old knowledge. I am talking about shamanism and eastern asian spirituality. Even if you are not into it, its interesting read and might help you taking a bit different perspective about it.
