I can't even predict how many error will I get when I'll run my program in next five minutes and you want my thoughts on singularity. xD

Are you talking about tech singularity or gravitational singularity??

@Aitkotw isn't it obvious from the book and author. Recommend reading it, he has a very strong point based on the laws of physics and technology's exponential growth we see today

@Haxk20 dude alteast check out the summary of the book

@Haxk20 haha yea I was like this

I guess he needs to sell more books to afford all the other stuff. On a serious note, doesn't matter how many books will be written on the subject, we will either kill ourselves or evolve into some organic digital beings. AI killing us is unlikely though I think.

@Haxk20 you will reach it, your information content will be preserved or whatever singularities do on the inside. For outside observers though, you will never reach it.

@Haxk20 well it's basically irrelevant since no measurement we could take inside the event horizon would ever reach us, so it can only ever be an unverifiable theory.

@Haxk20 only the smaller ones cause spaghetification, the ones that have the mass of a few suns.

The more massive ones like the one in the center of our galaxy which have the mass of a few million suns, going inside them we'll be absolutely alright and can actually explore what could be inside.

Theoretically if we can transfer our consciousness into an inorganic body by uploading, we can go out there and be the first explorers
