Do you reckon learning the patience you need to write/debug code actually trains you to deal with all the other crap you have to put up with being a developer?

From my experience I'd say it depends on what it is. Someone not sure how a process they've requested works yup no problem telling them it.

Someone asking me to do a task that takes a day to do but wants it done in the next hour. Nope ducks thrown tables flipped and my boss getting the usual the actual fuck question.
