Can we have a general appreciation thread for the kde community?

I feel like those guys and gals don't get the love they deserve, yet a lot of us use their software, desktop environment and/or Linux distro.

So, if anyone from the kde community is here, I'd just like to say thank you ♥️

If i have a machine that has processing power to spare, i do usially end up getting KDE. Its QT setup is really nice for configuration; also, i havent seen wobbly windows anywhere else ;)

The thing is that KDE is so feature rich that we can't even call it that anymore - it's just bloaty. even the desktop environment itself with xfce applications or lxde applications is just too memory/cpu hungry.

There has been a TON of underappreciated work put into it, yes; i just think it's shooting too far for "User friendly" and forgetting about functionality
