I tried taking a drug prescribed by a doctor once (can't remember the name). It made me extra sensitive and I swear it unlocked a side of my brain that could think up poetry and shit. But it caused huge sensory overload. I could not take a shower because the water was fired all the nerves on my skin. It overwhelmed my brain. My doctor said that meant something specific. He said he was sorry I had to go through that. But it helped him get the right stuff for me.
