Social media should be purely illegal under 18, it should be enforced by ID check, and advertisement should be also illegal on every platform for kids.

@Tounai woow slow down there! I personally started using the Internet when I was 12, and you couldn't keep me away from dark corners of the Internet, and I regret nothing. I am not discussing access, I'm arguing that social platforms have impact on mental health, both negative and positive. There should be moderation, not limitation.

I know I’ll be touching a sweet spot here, but nobody forces anybody to use social media. If you and everybody else whom do not like, just don’t use it.
But like in some other controversial issues, people want a product or service to their liking, and if it’s not, they criticize it. JUST DON’T USE IT.

@enpega "just don't use it" sounds a lot like what Musk said and the advertisers left and then he was bitching about lack of money. Just like devrant became toxic a while back and many left and the same toxic people were questioning "where did all the good rants go?"
"Just don't use it" is not a solution. It's a death sentence.
