I never really got what a front end or back end dev was. Or when you call yourself a developer or engineer or designer. Especially when it comes to games there are so many different job titles - wth

Front end: works on the user facing side (visuals)

Backend: works on the functionality behind the scenes.

Designer: draws pretty pictures for the front end developer.

Developer: not a programmer
Programmer: not a developer
WTF: it’s just a job title for the same job.

Full stack: can be all the above + sysadmin, but typically known as just someone that does the front and backend.

Engineer: usually someone in a senior role with certifications.
