Yeah. Let's stretch projects until they're so thin that a week long task can circle the earth.

Deadlines cool if estimations are correct and work load is consistent! Either you are lazy and doing less than you should.. or your estimations are so away .. or it is just new thing which you never done before.. i really do not agree with programmers who tells it is a week work and they spend a month on it..

@rim01 Well you forgot about the most common case: you get a deadline that is actually impossible to catch.l & is not set up by yourself.
