TL;DR
Front-end dev trying to dictate back-end tech.

We are gonna start split stack (front / back ) development with the following projects and this stupid fucker who knows jackshit about backend , servers, etc... , is more versed in front end stuff and said herself that she knows nothing about databases told me this:

"No way we are gonna use Java."

I politely said:

"We are gonna analyze the projects requirements and see what technologies best fit the scenario"

Me inside my head:

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPID CUNT, GET YOUR FUCKING JAVASCRIPT AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!! IF WE DECIDE TO JAVA THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYTHING THATS HOW ITS GONNA BE!"

    Amen xD but like really front end people. What do you care. I will give you your data in the format you want.

    Don't force me to work with a language I do not like by talking our client and going over my head. When it does not matter for the work you have to do.

    Thats it! People have to see that whole thing like a black box. You dont care what happens in the back. You just request your stuff and get it. Over and out. From the other side the same. Just deliver the freaking data and dont care how they process it.

    All needed is the agreement on how the API should look and live a happy live...

    Well thats excactly what we are trying in our company. However too many discussions from both sides which are clearly not black box like...sigh...

    @Tokimimo the problem I get a lot is that you get the discusion between front end and back end. But then still both people kinda know what they are talking about. But then you get a manager that in the chain of command is above us both.

    And he just start repeating terms he heard on the news and from his son thats 12 and made his first website. And you end up with project requirements that demand for a blockchain flat file in json format using XML.

    And then you are spending a week just to explain that you can't just group popular terms and get a good workflow/product/structure.

    If we need to Exchange data choose a format and I willl deliver. XD

    Sorry I needed to rant I think.

    @MisterArie @Tokimimo my thoughts exactly

    I don't give a fuck if they do their front-end using angular 1 and deploy it on a fucking raspberry pi in Antarctica, my API is gonna be there ready to take a heavy load and be steady and work.
